Wolverine Headshot

Even after having drawn this piece I have no clue how Wolverine's mask works.

So many people have drawn it in different ways, but it almost never makes sense to me how the flaps on the side come out.
In some views they protrude as if they come straight out on the sides of his face, but other views indicate that they would wrap around his head more.

There's also the matter of his uniform...I thought I knew, from the old 90's cartoon, but it has changed again since...

At any rate, there ya go! I may attempt some other versions for my own piece of mind.
